Virginia Marie Luebbert

Virginia Marie Luebbert, 86, of Jefferson City, passed away Saturday, November 24, 2018, at Westphalia Hills.
She was born February 17, 1932, in Freeburg, Missouri, the daughter of the late Peter and Anna (Bock) Ruder.
She was united in marriage on May 30, 1953, in Freeburg to Stephen George Luebbert. He preceded her in death on December 7, 1993.
A 1949 graduate of Freeburg High School, Virginia was a homemaker and spent over thirty years as secretary for Religious Education at the Diocese of Jefferson City.
Virginia was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church; Immaculata Club; and St. Ann’s Sodality.
She enjoyed word cross puzzles, dominos, scrabble, playing cards and loved being with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include eight children, Stan (Bridget) Luebbert, Centennial, CO; Loren (Pam) Luebbert, Osage Bend; Doris (Gary Herigon) Lorts, Mary’s Home; Paul (Deborah) Luebbert, Wardsville; Jeanne (Rick) Bremmerkamp, Knoxville, IA; Gary Luebbert, Melbourne, FL; Lynn (Terry) Armour, Jefferson City; and Dan (Lisa) Luebbert, Kansas City, MO; seventeen grandchildren, and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, infant twin grandsons, Adam and Alex Luebbert, four brothers, Vincent Ruder, Gerhard Ruder, Sylvester Ruder, Bernard Ruder, and four sisters, Mary Ruder, Mathilda Eisterhold, Emma Rehagen, and Johanna “Toots” Bexten.
Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Thursday, November 29, 2018, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Thursday, November 29, 2018, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. Donald J. Antweiler officiating.
Entombment will be in Resurrection Mausoleum.
