Wilfred John Smokey Forck, 74, of Jefferson City, died Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2006, at Kindred Hospital, St. Louis. He was born on July 18, 1931 in Jefferson City, the son of Albert John and Cecilia Catherine Eggemann Forck. He was married on Oct. 26, 1963 in Jefferson City to Thelma Jean Kolkmeyer who survives at the home. A 1950 graduate of St. Peter High School, Mr. Forck was a United States Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He retired on Oct. 31, 1991 from the carpet department at Jefferson City Distributors where he had been employed for twenty years. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and Roscoe Enloe American Legion Post 5. Other survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Warren Kohm, Kirkwood, MO; three grandchildren, Kaitlyn Kohm, Jacob Kohm, and Matthew Kohm; one sister and her husband, JoAnn and John Boeckman, Jefferson City; and one brother-in-law and wife, Edwin and Mary Kolkmeyer, Babylon, NY. He was preceded in death by one brother, Oliver Forck. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 9, 2006, at St. Peter Catholic Church with the Rev. Donald W. Lammers officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 8th, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Memorials are suggested to St. Peter Catholic School Building Fund, 314 W.
