William Joseph Heislen, 51, of Jefferson City, died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2005, in Friendship House at Hospice of Jefferson City and Mid-Missouri. He was born on March 19, 1953 in Jefferson City, the son of Paul Frank and Ann Catherine Moeller Heislen. His mother survives in Wardsville. A 1971 graduate of Blair Oaks High School in Wardsville, Mr. Heislen was employed with ABB Power T & D Company, Inc. for twenty-five years; and with Dollar General Corporation for the last five years. He was a member of the Roman Catholic faith. Other survivors include two brothers and a sister-in-law, Kevin and Elaina Heislen, Jefferson City; and Dennis Heislen, Holts Summit; two sisters and two brothers-in-law, Nancy and Dale Nilges, Jefferson City; and Debbie and Ronald Libbert, Meta; one niece; three nephews; one great-nephew; and a special friend, JoAnn Brown, Jefferson City. He was preceded in death by his father and a nephew, Corey Libbert. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 21, 2005, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Wardsville, with the Rev. Gregory C. Meystrik officiating. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Wardsville. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, 2005, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, Jefferson City, with a prayer service at 4 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Jefferson City & Mid-Missouri, 601 E.
