William “Bill” Louis Rose Loving husband, stepfather, and friend.

William “Bill” Louis Rose, loving husband to Kelly Rose and devoted stepfather to Ella Medlin, passed away suddenly on December 28, 2024, outside their family home in Jefferson City, Missouri.

Bill served his country with honor in the U.S. Army from 1987 to 1991 as a Combat Medic, including service in Nurburg, Germany.

Bill grew up in Tucson, AZ, and spent seven years amidst the breathtaking Alaskan landscape. An avid nature lover, he enjoyed numerous hobbies, including hunting, blacksmithing, and off-roading adventures. Bill’s love for animals was evident in the care he provided to his two dogs and cat.

Bill’s smile and laughter were larger than life. He possessed a gentle and quiet spirit, and his kindness touched everyone he met. To his wife Kelly, he was a stabilizing force, and to his stepdaughter Ella, whom he cherished as his own, he was a constant source of encouragement, always supporting her passions and dreams.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife Kelly Rose; stepdaughter Ella Rose; mother Shirley Alulwurm Pinkerton; stepfather Guy Pinkerton; brother John Rose; two stepsisters, Sue Pinkerton and Gloria Pinkerton; and one stepbrother, Scott Pinkerton. He is also survived by three nieces and one nephew.

A memorial service will be held at the family home at 2702 Bess Hill Road, Jefferson City, Missouri, on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Bill’s honor to donation link: https://gofund.me/c8b812b7
