I first met Wilma at P&P. We worked together for many years. Loved her personality and attitude!! We continued to get together for dinner and drinks up until recently. My heart is broken with her loss. Your family has my deepest sympathy during this difficult time. I am out of town the day of the memorial so I am unable to attend.
Condolences and hugs!
When I began with the Missouri Dept of Corrections I met Wilma and was scared to death of her – that is until I got to know her and figured out she had a bark but no bite (mostly 😊). I loved Wilma – honest, caring, funny, good natured. I trusted if I ask her what she thought about something I would hear the truth. I admired and respected her. She was a rare wonderful human being. I am so sad – I pray God will heal and strengthen all those she loved and cared about.
I’m so sad about this. Wilma was such a funny, spunky lady! She was a force to be reckoned with and always stood up for what was right. Hence my nickname for her… Hurricane Wilma! At P&P, we became friends quickly and I learned from her how to stand up for what I believe in. She was such a great lady, we continued our friendship after we went out separate working ways and had lunch together to catch up. She was very proud of her family and cared so deeply about everyone close to her. I’m just so dang sad over this news. I can’t attend the memorial but I will continue to remember, pray and show thanks for having such a great woman in my life. Prayers to her family and children…losing a mother leaves a very big empty. I’m so sorry.
I remember all my good talks with your mom kids. She was kind, sweet and gave me some great advice years ago that I remember to this day. Sorry for your giant loss kids🙏❤️
Sincere condolences to Wilma’s family she was quite a lady
Wilma and her family were really good neighbors when they lived in Macon on Broadway Street. We remember Jeff and Lori when they lived there, two very nice children. We are so sorry and feel the loss of a very kind and wonderful personality, Wilma. Sending our most sincere sympathy to her family. Margaret and Bill Hall, Susie, Sandi, Sheila, & John.
My condolences to Wilma’s family and her friends. I was so sad to hear the news. Wilma was a great person to know. I worked with her at P&P for many years. She always spoke her mind and you always could laugh with her. I remember Jeannine Heather (who also has passed away) and Wilma were good friends when we worked on Christy Drive in the black glassed building on 3rd floor.
