Wilma Schaefer, 84, of Jefferson City, died Tuesday, June 24, 2008, at St. Marys Health Center. She was born on September 21, 1923, in Loose Creek, the daughter of Charles and Matilda Ann Vossen Bonnot. She was married on May 9, 1942, in Loose Creek to Dennis Henry Schaefer who survives at the home. A homemaker all of her life, Mrs. Schaefer was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and St. Anns Sodality. Other survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law, Ronald Schaefer; Ralph and Gerri Schaefer; Russell and Mary Schaefer, all of Jefferson City; four daughters and four sons-in-law, Rachael and Bill Rakestraw, Chester, Md.; Ruth and Curt Dittmer; Rita and Tom Storey; and Rose and Bruce Loesch, all of Jefferson City; seventeen grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Julius Bonnot. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 27, 2008, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. Brendan P. Doyle officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7:30 p.m. Thursday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Capital Project, Inc., 2001 E.
