This would have been about 1954 time frame. I always idolized my dear, sweet cousin Sandy. She never treated me like her baby cousin. I used to get to spend the night with her when she was in high school and she would play piano for me. I was able to visit her and Doug in MO once after she lost her sight. I will always cherish that visit. She had made 2 quilts for my dad, her beloved Uncle Joe. I have them now thankfully. Our deepest condolences to Doug and family.
